Central Christian Church As An Urban Spirituality Center

A snapshot of Central Christian Church in the 21st Century would incorporate our neighbors into the sphere of Central Christian Church and becoming a community of spiritually alert and open Christians. We would become a center of community life for our neighbors and a Christian urban spirituality center and community.

As a center of community life for our neighbors Central Christian Church would:

  • Sponsor programs and events that promote the well being of the community
  • Host events and activities that promote good relationships for our neighbors
  • Venue for community cultural events
  • Sponsor and host for educational programs and activities for children and youth
  • Place for community groups to meet and hold activities

As a Christian urban spirituality center and community, Central Christian Church would offer:

  • Worship and arts that explore and express the mystery of God’s presence
  • Fluid activities and groups starting frequently for pre-determined times in a variety of venues to address specific needs and interests
  • Children and youth ministries based on relationships with many adults
  • Technology for growth available on demand
  • Leadership community for nurture, skills, support and vision for mission
